Overview
If you have forgotten the password for your initials, you can configure a new password via Forgot Password by answering your Security Question. However, if you entered an incorrect password too many times, you will need the help of a staff member with System Administration privileges to reset your password.
Reset your own password
- Select Lists > Pharmacists.
- Find your user/initials.
- Select Change Password.
- Select Forgot Password.
- Enter the Answer to your Security Question.
- Enter a suitable Password and Confirm.
You can also change your Security Question and Answer from this window.
Reset a password with the help of a Security Administrator
If you have entered three incorrect passwords or security answers, your initials will reset and be given a temporary password. Only a Security Administrator is able to retrieve this temporary password for you in order for you to configure a new password and security question.
Part 1: System Administrator retrieves the Temporary Password
- Click on the Current User at the top of the screen and select Security Administration.
- Enter Initials and Password.
- Locate the user/initial that has been reset and take note of their Temporary Password.
You can also select Print Passwords - which will print out all users with their temporary passwords (if applicable).
Part 2: Use the Temporary Password to reset your password
- Click on Current User at the top of the screen and select Switch User.
- Enter your initials and the Temporary Password.
- Configure new password and security question/answer.
