Fred Dispense Plus automatically updates its software and drug databases without requiring any user intervention. This guide demonstrates how to confirm the versions of both the Fred Dispense Plus software and the Drug database.

How to check software version in Fred Dispense Plus

1. Click Help > About Fred Dispense Plus.
2. The initial two digits of the Fred Dispense Plus Version align with the release number, which should be the same as the version indicated in the latest release note.
   

How to check the Drug database version in Fred Dispense Plus 

1. Press F7 to activate Quick Drug Pricing screen.
2. Type "Test" in the drug search field.
   
3. The initial line shows the current drug database version in use.
