Issue
An issue may occur where a user enters incorrect prescriber details while dispensing a script in dispense software. Consequently, the system uploads this inaccurate prescriber name onto Real-Time Prescription Monitoring (RTPM) platforms such as Safescript or QScript. Despite fixing the prescriber's name within the dispensing software, the correction fails to reflect on the RTPM platform.
Resolution
- Select the impacted script within the dispense software and edit the script.
- Change the prescriber of the script to any other doctor.
- Save the script.
- Exit the script.
- Return to the affected script, edit and choose the correct/original prescriber.
- Save the script again.
- Allow up to 15 minutes for the system to process the changes, then verify if the prescriber's name has been fixed in the relevant RTPM platform.
