Unable to log into Fred Dispense Plus

Fred Dispense Plus

Below are some troubleshooting tips if you are having problems logging in.

New user without dispense initials and password

New staff who will be performing a dispensing function—for example, pharmacist or dispensary technician—need to be added by an existing user with the dispense role of Managing Pharmacist.

1. Contact the Managing Pharmacist user and request their assistance to add the new user and assign initials and password.
2. If the Managing Pharmacist user cannot be contacted, then log a ticket with Fred Help for assistance with adding a new dispense user.

Previous user who only has NXT Dispense/NXT POS login ID

Users who have previously had access to NXT Dispense but not Dispense Plus will be able to set up a dispense initial and password:

1. Enter the NXT Dispense operator ID (for example, 100123) into the User Initials field and click Login (no password required).
2. A prompt will appear asking the user to continue to set up their dispense initials and password for Dispense Plus.

Forgotten password

Users who need to re-set their password will require the assistance of another user with the dispense role of Managing Pharmacist.

The Managing Pharmacist user will be able to assist with assigning a new password under the Setup menu by selecting User Management.
