Fred Dispense Plus
Overview
Fred Dispense Plus is compatible with certain email clients, and this article explains how to configure an email client with Fred Dispense Plus so that documents can be attached to an email directly from the software.
Please note that only Outlook (Classic) is compatible with Fred Dispense Plus, while Outlook (New) is not. Other compatible email clients include Thunderbird: https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/.
Steps
- Install an email client on the terminal where you want to send emails from.
- Add an email account of your choice to the email client.
- In Windows Settings, configure your installed email client as the default program for email. For more details, refer to the following Microsoft Support link: Make Outlook the default program for email, contacts, and calendar.
- When emailing documents from Fred Dispense Plus, the document will be automatically attached to the new email.
