Examples of adding columns to the report
The new columns to be added from the column chooser depend on the purpose of the report. Here are some examples of how the user customized the report.
Purpose 1: Identify prescriptions for expensive drugs that were dispensed during a specified period
Add the Avg W/S Cost column from the column chooser. Then, click on the filter icon for the Avg W/S Cost column and adjust the From value to specify the minimum price of the high-cost drug that you want to include in the report.
In the example below, the report will list dispensed drugs with an average wholesale cost equal to or exceeding $3000.00.
Purpose 2: Display list of scripts written by specific doctor for a specific item
Add the Prescriber First Name and Prescriber Last Name columns from the column chooser. Then, click on the filter icon for the new columns to select a specific doctor.
Repeat the process for the Drug description column by choosing the specific drug.
