Use the following checks as a guideline. It is not necessary to use all checks, test the script resend as soon as you have completed the first check.
- Ensure the Fred Dispense Plus screen is clear; if not press F12
- Log out of MedView Flow and Fred Dispense then restart both programs
- Check the Terminal ID is configured in the web browsers used to access MedView Flow.
For example, if interchanging between either the Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers for MedView Flow, then the Terminal ID needs to be individually set in each browser.
First reference the Terminal ID in Fred Dispense Plus:

- Select Administration and then Dispense Options
- Terminal ID is listed under ePrescriptions (note it down)
- Select Administration and then Dispense Options

Then from MedView Flow:

- Select the icon on the menu to display settings

- Enter the Terminal ID and Save

4. Check you have an Internet connection; If you are offline you will not be able to scan tokens to retrieve ePrescriptions from the Script Exchange. Instead dispense ePrecription as Owing script or obtain a paper script
5. Check eRx is working; If offline, contact the prescriber to obtain the script details over the phone, then dispense the script as an owing or obtain a paper script
6. Check ePrescriptions are activated in Fred Dispense Plus:

- Wait Screen>Administration>Options
- Ensure both MedView Flow Integration and Paperless ePrecriptions options are enabled
- Restart Fred Dispense Plus on each terminal to initiate the connection MedView Flow
