Use the following checks as a guideline. It is not necessary to use all checks; test the script resend as soon as you have completed the first check.
- Ensure the Fred Dispense Plus screen is clear; if not press F12.
- Log out of MedView Flow and Fred Dispense, then restart both programs.
- Check the Terminal ID is configured in the web browsers used to access MedView Flow.
For example, if you switch between Chrome and Microsoft Edge for MedView Flow, the Terminal ID must be set separately in each browser.
First, reference the Terminal ID in Fred Dispense Plus:
- Select Administration and then Dispense Options.
- The Terminal ID is listed under ePrescriptions (note it down).
Then, in MedView Flow:
- Select the
icon on the menu to display settings.
- Enter the Terminal ID and click Save.
- Check you have an internet connection. If you are offline you cannot scan tokens to retrieve ePrescriptions from the Script Exchange; dispense the ePrescription as an owing script or obtain a paper script instead.
- Check eRx is working. If offline, contact the prescriber for the script details and dispense as owing or obtain a paper script.
- Check ePrescriptions are activated in Fred Dispense Plus.
- Verify the settings: Wait Screen > Administration > Options.
- Ensure MedView Flow Integration is enabled.
- Ensure Paperless ePrescriptions is enabled.
- Restart Fred Dispense Plus on each terminal to initiate the connection to MedView Flow.
