How to update POS images displayed on the customer facing Fred NXT POS screen

Overview

This article explains how to update POS images displayed on the customer facing POS screen (NXT POS).

To add a new POS image

1. From any computer on the pharmacy network (ie POS computers), open File Explorer.
2. Click Network on the left-hand sidebar and then click FREDLINK01.
   
3. The POSIMAGES folder is displayed.
4. Paste any image files into POSIMAGES that you want to display on the customer facing POS display.

The images will display at set intervals (approx. 30 seconds) on the customer facing POS display on all POS terminals. There is no need to restart the POS application for this to work and the changes will take effect immediately.

To stop a POS image from displaying

To stop an image from being displayed, either delete it or move it out of the POSIMAGES folder.
