How to perform dot dispensing in Fred Dispense Plus

Overview

This article explains how users can dispense scripts by the "dot" dispensing method in Fred Dispense Plus.

Steps

1. Configure the NXTQ Tile: Make sure the NXTQ tile is set up in Fred Dispense Plus. For more information, see NXTQ Configuration in Fred Dispense Plus Online Help.
   
   
2. Export Scripts to NXTQ: Export the list of scripts from your third-party software to NXTQ. If you need help exporting scripts, contact your third-party program's support team, as the process may differ depending on the vendor.
   
   
3. Check Loaded Scripts: Once scripts are loaded into NXTQ, the NXTQ tile will show the number of loaded scripts, as shown below.
   

4. Dot dispense scripts in Fred Dispense Plus: Navigate to the Waits screen in Fred Dispense Plus then press "Ctrl" + "." keys to pull a script from the NXTQ tile. Finish dispensing the script and repeat this process to continue dot dispensing scripts from NXTQ.
