Fred Dispense
Overview
The main culprit for IHI not validating or my Health record not working is an expired NASH certificate. This needs to be manually updated every 2 years via PRODA. Once you have downloaded your new NASH certificate from PRODA, you'll have to import the certificate using Fred Connect.
1. Steps to renew/request new NASH in PRODA
If you are experiencing issues renewing or NASH in PRODA or receiving your PIC code- contact PRODA immediately: 1800 700 199 Option 1
- Log onto PRODA account : Services Australia renew NASH

Go to service on the HPOS tile.

Ensure you continue as Individual - No organisation then follow the rest of the steps:

- My programs.
- Healthcare Identifiers and My Health Record.
- Healthcare Identifiers - Manage existing records.
- your required organisation record.
- My organisation details.

Certificates tab.

- Under the certificates tab, you will see the current NASH for the store with an option on the right to 'Renew', please make sure to press the Submit button when completing the form to finalise the Renewal request
- If the certificate has already expired, there may not be a 'Renew' button so please click on the link underneath that says 'Request a NASH PKI site certificate' instead.

- Enter a mobile number.
- Tick the relevant check box or boxes.
- Save changes and submit.
You will get an email and a PIC (via SMS) once the new NASH is ready for download. Navigate to the certificates tab again and there will be a download button next to the new NASH.
2. Steps to import NASH into Fred Connect
- Open Fred Connect on the Fred Connect terminal by double clicking on the icon in the system tray of your computer. Alternatively, you can right click and select Show.
- On the Status tab, select Certificate Manager.
- Browse to and select the NASH certificate you have downloaded, and click Open.
If you cannot see your certificate, change File Search type Field to All.
- Input the PIC Code (sent from Services Australia by email or SMS) and press OK.
- Wait for the eRx configuration window to display and progress bar to be completed.
This step may take up to a minute.
- Your NASH certificate has uploaded successfully.
Tips:
- When entering the PIC code please do not include "." at the end of the code
- To ensure successful update, please ensure this progress bar completes
- Restart Fred dispense on all terminals.
