Generate a Usage Report for High-Cost Items

Overview

To generate a drug usage report for high-cost items, you'll first need to add a list of known high-cost items into a Stock Group. You can then run a Drug Usage report and filter for that Stock Group.

Steps

1. Add high-cost items into a Stock Group. For more information on how to add items to a new stock group, see Stock Groups in Fred Dispense Online Help.

   It may be useful to enter the following under Optional criteria to filter for high-cost items:
   dwsprice>x where x is an amount. For example, dwsprice>1000 will filter for drugs with Wholesale costs (listed in their drug cards) above $1000.

   
   

2. From the Reports menu, select Drug Usage, then select Drug Usage.
3. Enter Stock Group created for high-cost items (from Step 1).
