Reprogramming Zebra DS22 (DS2278) desktop scanner

Issue

The Zebra DS22 (DS2278) may suddenly stop scanning barcodes normally. You can re-program it back to working state with the following programming barcode in sequences.

Resolution

  1. Scan the following Factory Default reset code.
    1.DS2278_Reset.JPG
    (Refer to page 10 of Quick Start Guide).
  2. Scan the following Host Interface code.

    (Refer to page 6 of Quick Start Guide).
  3. Pair the scanner with the charging cradle (acting as Bluetooth receiver) using the QR code on the cradle as shown.

  4. Scan the following code for Add an Enter key (carriage Return/Line Feed).

    (Refer to page 10 of Quick Start Guide).
  5. Test the scanner by scanning a barcode into Notepad, Fred POS, Fred Office, or Fred Dispense.
