How to add a Loyalty Tender in Fred POS Plus

Overview

This is applicable for any store that uses 3rd party Loyalty and needs a way to record loyalty deductions on the end of day Z report. 

This guide only applies to stores with Fred POS Plus/Retail Hero.

In order to proceed with these steps, you will need Administrator level access. 

Steps

1. Log into RMH Store Manager.
2. Go to Setup, then select Financial, then Tender types. 
   
   
   
3. Enter in the following:
   Description: Loyalty (You can change this name to whatever you need it to be, such as Redemptions).
   Tender Code: L01
   Tender Type: Other
   Display Order: This is the position it will show up at the till, so select a number that is not taken by another tender. 
   Every other option can be left as is.
   
4. Once the details have been entered, click Save and Close.
5. Exit the application.
6. In order for the tender to show up, an End of Day Z report needs to be run at the till. Once the end of day has been run. The Tender will now show up in the Tender screen.
