How to add a Loyalty Tender in Fred POS Plus

Overview

This applies to any store that uses third-party loyalty and needs a way to record loyalty deductions on the end of day Z report.

This guide only applies to stores with Fred POS Plus/Retail Hero.

Administrator level access is required.

Steps

1. Log into RMH Store Manager.
2. Go to Setup, then select Financial, then Tender types.
   
3. Enter the following:
   Description: Loyalty (You can change this name to whatever you need, such as Redemptions).
   Tender Code: L01
   Tender Type: Other
   Display Order: This is the position it will show up at the till, so select a number that is not taken by another tender.
   Every other option can be left as is.
   
4. Once the details have been entered, click Save and Close.
5. Exit the application.
6. Run an end of day Z report at the till. Once the end of day has been run, the tender will now show up in the tender screen.
