Fred Office Plus
Overview
There are two ways to zero all stock in hand at the store in Fred Office Plus.
- Manually zeroing the store before a stocktake. See the steps below.
- Doing a batch stocktake. If a batch stocktake is done correctly, all items in the store not counted will automatically zero out when the stocktake is committed. For more details, see Interactive Stocktake Helper in Fred Office Plus Online Help.
Steps
- Select Reporting > System Reports > Inventory Reports > Stock Valuation Report, then click Open Report.
-
If you want to zero out your whole stock file, click Run Report.
If you want to zero out a specific department, select the department first, then click Run Report.
A staggered department report will be displayed, displaying departments but not the individual items. - From here drag the department and category boxes into the other columns.
The items will show in the report. - Click on any one line so the item is highlighted and then press CTRL + A to select all the items.
- With all the items selected, right click the highlighted blue area and select Item Quick Action.
- In the Quick Action menu, select Inventory > Reset both Stock on Hand and Committed Stock to Zero.
- Click Next through the Wizard, until the Preview Changes step.
- Select the checkbox to confirm you want to apply the changes.
- Click Next and Apply the changes.
Your stock on hand for the whole store will be zeroed out so you can start doing the stocktake.
