How to add important patient messages

Overview

If you select a patient with an Important Patient Message, a red box with the message will display. You must press C or Esc to proceed.

Follow the steps below to add an Important Patient Message.

Steps

1. Select a patient.
2. Press F8 to edit existing patient details.

3. Enter the Important Patient Message in the Patient Notes field in between two hashtags (#). For example,
   

   Any text written in the Patient Notes field outside of the hashtags will not display in the Important Patient Message.
