The GST (Goods and Services Tax) status of a product is set in the product card.
GST (Goods and services tax) status
There are three status options:
- GST means that GST is charged whether the Transaction is from supplier to supplier; supplier to retailer; retailer to third party supplier (with an ABN number) or from retailer to customer.
- NO GST means that GST is charged only between suppliers/ retailers and third parties who are not the "end user" of the product. Therefore products flagged as NO GST do not have GST added to the retail price.
- GST-FREE means no one pays GST on this product.
