Fred Office Plus
Use Items to create new item stock cards and adjust existing stock cards in your store. The search field can be used to find items by description, alias or reorder number. Items can then be opened by double-clicking on them or right-clicking and selecting Open Item. New items are created via the Create Item Wizard (accessible from the toolbar).
Column chooser can also be used here to customise the columns displayed and the quick action wizard (for bulk edits) is available by right-clicking. The Item Summary pane is available at the lower section of screen.
Once an item card is opened (by double-clicking or by right-clicking) you will notice the item stock card has been organised into sections to aid quick navigation.
When would I use it?
- Creating new items (create item wizard from the toolbar)
- Manage existing items (match item to a drug or to AppCAT, add an alias, change description, set as do not place on purchase order etc).
- Perform quick actions on a list of displayed items (by right-clicking).
- Add items to a group (by right-clicking).
- Merge two items together (via open stock card Tools menu)
Item summary Pane
The Item Summary pane is designed to give you immediate access to important information without needing to enter an item stock card. The Item Summary pane includes three tabs:

Item Summary tab
Displays summary information for ordering, sales, primary supplier information (from AppCAT), pricing plans and rate of usage.

Usage Summary tab
Displays usage information in both graphical and tabular format.

Ordering Summary tab
Displays the supplier details and recent detailed ordering history.
Show and Hide the Item Summary pane
To hide the entire Item Summary pane, click the pin icon . The pane will display as shown below;
To redisplay, the Item Summary pane, hover over the tab to display the panel information and click the pin icon .
