Overview
The following is a step-by-step guide on setting up MedView Email on an iOS device with the Mail app.
This email service was formerly known as Fred Net Email. This article is applicable only to customers who have already been using Fred Net Email.
Email server settings
The table below summarises the email server settings that are needed for the steps in the next section.

Steps

Select Settings.

Select Accounts & Passwords, then Add Account.

Select Other, then Add Mail Account.

Enter your details such as Name, Email and Password in the fields, then select Next.

Fill in the details for the New Account under IMAP. For both incoming and outgoing mail servers:

Enter 'mail.frednet.com.au' in the Host Name fields.

Enter your email address for User Name.

Enter your Password.

When all the fields are filled in, select Next.

After account verification stage, the following Account detail screen will display. Tap the Outgoing mail server: SMTP option.

Next, tap the Primary Server: mail.frednet.com.au.

Update the fields as follows:
Use SSL: enable
Authentication: Password
Server Port can be either 465 (for older iOS support SSL only) or 587 (for newer iOS version that supports SSL/TLS). -
Select Done at the top.
