Fred Office Plus
Issue
Printed statements from Fred Office Plus are out of alignment and when folded, the address is not visible in the envelope window.
This is not a Fred Office Plus issue. The alignment relies on the printer settings of the computer and varies from store to store.
Cause
Fred Office Plus Statements are printed to *.pdf format. Due to variability of PDF viewers and printer settings at different pharmacies, there may be some alignment issues that occur.
Fred Office Plus dimensions are always the same and do not change.
Resolution
The store needs to use a process of trial and error that results in the correct settings they need in order for the statements to fit. The results rely on the configuration of the actual print settings of the client the store is using on the respective computer.
There is no quick or easy way to determine the correct settings. During the trial-and-error process, the store will be printing out multiple statements for test purposes until they find a setting that fits their purpose.
The printing view depends heavily on what print preview program the store is using. This is usually triggered when you select to 'print' the chosen document.
The following shows two common print preview programs. The one you see at your store may be different but should follow the same structure.

Steps
No matter how different each printing window is, there are number of fundamental options that can change the way the statement comes out on the paper.
These options are generally associated with Scaling of the document.
What users will need to do is try different settings one by one, print the statement, then check and fold the paper to see if it fits. If it doesn't, then adjust the settings and try again.
In most cases it is always best to try the settings in the following order. If the first option doesn't work, then move one to the next one and so on.

- Adjust scale. (Try out different numbers).
See Adobe Acrobat Scaling Options or Microsoft Windows Scaling Options below for further details, if needed.
Once a satisfactory printing outcome is achieved, the store should note down the settings for future use in case an update resets the settings back to default. It is also recommended to use the same PC and printer each time you need to print statements.
