To avoid this inaccuracy, it is recommended to create a custom drug card specifically for compassionate supply items, ensuring they do not impact the Script Analysis Report.

Steps

1. Follow the steps outlined in Create an Own Brand Drug in Fred Dispense Plus to create your own brand drug.
2. When naming the item, include "Compassionate Supply" in the name to differentiate it from other drugs. Set both the wholesale and private prices to $0.00 to reflect that it is provided free of charge.
   
   
   
3. When dispensing a compassionate supply script, select the own brand drug you created. This ensures that it doesn’t affect the Script Analysis Report and prevents any discrepancies in gross profit calculations.
