Overview
If you find that script information for an own-brand drug (OBD) cannabis item fails to upload to Real-Time Prescription Monitoring (RTPM), follow the steps below.
Steps
For the cannabis script data to be successfully transmitted to RTPM, certain conditions must be met. Ensure that when generating an own-brand drug card, the following requirements are fulfilled:
- The Generic Name field within the own-brand drug card must contain a chemical name recognized as a triggering name for RTPM. Below is a list of some generic names that serve as triggering names:
- Cannabis
- Tetrahydrocannabinol
- Cannabidiol
Names such as THC or CBD do not serve as triggering terms and will result in the failure of script information to upload.
- Set the correct Schedule for the product.
- After confirming the above points for the affected own-brand drug card, edit the scripts that were not uploading to RTPM. They should upload successfully.
There could be a delay of up to 15 minutes before the script information gets updated on RTPM after resubmission.
